Formwick’s visualiser available at visualiser.formwick.co.uk lets you preview a selected finish in your space using your device’s camera and a printed marker.

What the visualiser processes

When you press the Start camera button, the visualiser sends individual camera images to our server. The server detects the marker, places your selected finish on the image and sends the result back to your device. This continues while the camera is running.

You can use the Stop button at any time, or close the page, to stop sending camera images.

How we use and keep images

We use camera images and images you choose only to provide the visualisation. The visualiser does not record video or intentionally save those images. They are processed for the current request and are not added to a customer account or used for marketing.

Please avoid pointing the camera at people or information you would not want included in an image sent to the server.

Hosting and technical logs

The visualiser is hosted by PythonAnywhere. Requests to the application may produce access or error logs containing technical information such as your IP address, request time and browser details. PythonAnywhere rotates and deletes logs under its log-retention process. These logs are separate from the camera images processed by the visualiser.

We use the technical information needed to operate and protect the visualiser. We do not use camera images or images you choose for advertising or profiling.

Your choices and questions

Your browser will ask for camera permission before the visualiser can use the camera. You can stop the camera in the visualiser or manage camera permission in your browser settings.
